John Landgraf speaking engagements are the definition of must-see TV for me. Landgraf, the longtime C.E.O. of FX Networks, the so-called Mayor of Television, and the coiner of the phrase “Peak TV,” has long been one of the smartest people in town and isn’t afraid to call B.S. He’s had a great year, with record-breaking Emmy wins for both Shogun and The Bear, so he was a natural choice for our first live event in L.A. for my podcast, The Town, last Thursday at NeueHouse Hollywood.
