Last week, The Independent reported that Riccardo Tisci, the former Givenchy and Burberry designer, had recently been accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a man named Patrick Cooper in New York last June. (The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday.) The designer immediately denied Cooper’s claims. “These allegations are categorically untrue,” a spokesperson for Tisci told me. “Riccardo looks forward to clearing his name of these false and malicious accusations. He will obtain vindication through due process.”
