The House is bracing for the Ethics Committee’s recommendations tomorrow concerning the fate of Florida Democratic Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, who has been accused of using $5 million of FEMA disaster relief funds to finance her congressional campaign. The committee has already found all but two of the 27 allegations against her to be credible. Tomorrow they’ll hold a public hearing where her counsel will present a defense and the letters of support that she’s filed will be considered.
